My Cape Cod roots go deep. I came to the Cape in 1973, while still in college. Through the Linnell family in Eastham I am related to Stephen Hopkins, who crossed over on the Mayflower as a child.
After college, I settled on the Outer Cape working as an Outward Bound Instructor with juvenile delinquents in the nationally recognized "Homeward Bound" program in Nickerson State Park in Brewster. Following a winter on the Appalachian Trail, I spent a summer offshore on a scallop boat out of Chatham. I then spent several years in the construction trades doing masonry. I began my real estate career in the mid 80's.

| In addition to my membership in the Cape Cod & Islands Association of Realtors, I maintain active memberships in the Massachusetts Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. A member of the Appalachian Mountain Club, I also served on the Development Committee of The Latham Centers, a non-profit school for emotionally challenged children in Brewster. I recently volunteered as a docent for the 25th Anniversary Designer's Show House for PBS's "This Old House".
| I received a BA in American History from Stonehill College in 1973.
While living in California I taught 6th grade environmental education and attended the University of California at Irvine.
| First licensed as a broker in 1986, I have been active in the real estate market for over 20 years. During the last ten years, I have worked as a mortgage loan officer for several secondary market lenders, including; Fleet Mortgage, Bank America Mortgage and a local broker here on Cape Cod. My knowledge of the local and national lending environment, coupled with my extensive contacts with attorneys and appraisers bring a unique and valuable perspective to the home buying experience.
